QUGA and QDMA Hunter Safety Course July 17th

Illinois Skillet Fork QUGA along with South Central QDMA will be hosting a hunter safety course July 17 5-10 pm and July 18th 8 am – 5 pm at Salem Community High School. ILLINOIS QUGA AWARDED GRANT FUNDING FOR CONSERVATION LANDOWNERS

Happy 2019! Quail and Upland Game Alliance (QUGA) has good news! The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Habitat Funds Grant Program has awarded QUGA grants to help landowners/producers with conservation on the ground. Attached are applications for the Bonus and Pheasant Programs, Funding for this program comes from the sale of Habitat Stamps to sportsmen. A partnership project with the USDA to fund a one-time incentive payment of $120.00 per acre to local landowners for their voluntary enrollment ...

Food Plot Seed Update – Wheat

Hello from Quail and Upland Game Alliance – QUGA,

A few news items:
New QUGA seed mixes (NRCS calculator approved) with new prices will be available soon.
Wheat Seed has arrived in Sesser, IL. for food plots (conservation) only. 2000 lb bulk bags equals 33 1/2 bushels of wheat and are $166.65 which is $5.00 a bushel. We will also be bagging this wheat and the cost will be $6.50 per 50lb bag. Let me know if you know of anyone ...
